OK, I think this guy is insane

But that's just me. Backflip over a 72' canyon.

I think the backwards flip wasn't so bad......I mean it was fairly straight forward. (for some one with that talent ) it's all the other ridge running and drop offs that it doesn't matter how good you are, something is going to happen. Yeah INSANE!

Good grief! I'm not sure if you have to be all the way insane to be just "crazy." WOW.

It looked to me like he got off the "trail" right there toward the end when it didn't matter. If he'd gotten off the "trail" anywhere else, he'd have fallen until next Sunday. Closed casket ceremony for sure.

That's just wild right there. And again, let's blame that sort of behavior on GoPro cameras. Uhh.....not. Not really.

I am right on those vids. there is a drop flip (no help with ramp) in similar canyons. It may be on the redbull channel. here it is:
            edit: his name. Cam Zink.

Cam "the solid lifter" Zink. Just made that up.

Yes,he's nuts. I would've immediately fallen off the side of that narrow path. I was puckering big time at the start of the video.

The jump was just the icing on the cake. That was crazy!

So Casper......I must just love trouble, but I don't like it at all....

You're still here. Great, just great for all of us.

Do you realize, and you probably don't, and you surely don't care.....you are posting nice "civil" comments on a thread that was started by the man you called a jackass? Just thought I'd point that out, since you don't know it yourself. Just sayin'

I mean, not to cause trouble or anything. And Matt's a bigger man than I am so he wouldn't stoop to doing anything so childish himself. But I'll do it.

                      EDIT: Godammit.

I don't do downhill stuff (yet), but mountain biking is a blast. I've lost count of my wrecks up at school and I have a ton of scars from tangling with trees, rocks and my bike. But its a huge rush- easily on par with motorcycles, anything I've done in a car, and flying.

I'd love to be able to tangle with that kind of terrain, or at least have $8k or so to build a bicycle that might stand a chance at the ride.

That must be a blast. I got a mountain bike, and fell off...on smooth pavement. I used to be a nut about such things, even had a skateboard. I like watching the vids instead. Stuff never done before.

When I was out west I hung around a bunch of down hill mountain bike racers. You think they are insane on the bike you should see them off the bike. Go large and look for The hole was sort of a metafore fore life. I still laugh about that crew.
Well I have stopped buying stuff for cars I don't own. Is that a step in the right or wrong direction?
