I'm not a fan of lots of chrome, but in this case I think the chrome air cleaner looks much better. Especially with the orange valve covers.

Me too, chrome is OK in small doses. Going overboard with chrome makes me wince - I see too many cars at shows where they've chromed the oil pan, the valve covers, the air cleaner, the alternator, the starter, and would have chrome plated the engine block if it wasn't such a pain to polish cast iron.

If you're going with the stock looking orange engine color then I'd go with the chrome lid. BTW, very clean and neat engine bay with no bling = a big thumbs up!
