this can't be for real. I ran a Subaru that made noise for 25 years. The #2 rod had no bearing. That one is right behind water pump and oil pump.. got away with it. 136k miles, threw a different rod in 2012, believe it or not, to blow the engine. Was not even the missing rod bearing that killed it . It even came from Alaska to maine. 3 rod bearings in a Subaru EA82. Thought the noise was a solid lifter.

beyond the you tube comment section, I got a fancy oil filter in 2010, captured little aluminum pebbles. That was a piston and block grinding away. 2 years later, after zero oil pressure for more than a year..

I took it on one last trip with a passenger. 654 miles. long day.

About a month after that, still running, very noisy, I flew out onto the highway...Spun the crank pulley off because my air fuel exceeded the 140 pound bolt that held it on. It is then, I wobbled it home one last time, steam and noise... and blew the engine in it sparking spot.

there is some tough stories, most are fake. The boxer I killed is the craziest ever.

Not sure if PW's a hillbilly or a redneck. Around here there's almost no hillbillies as we live on a coastal plain - no hills. But plenty of rednecks. Peewee is from SC so it could be either.

I've been trying hard to hide it from y'all, I don't like taking credit or anything, don't like photographers and reporters so much, you can't trust them like you can trust beer drinkin' buddies.

But what I did was, I writ that move Deliverence. I meant for it to be my memoirs, but Hollywood took off with it and screwed it all up. Got paid a lot for it, but...

The only real part they got right was, if you hear banjo music, paddle faster. Lots faster, unless you want to squeal like a pig.

I saw two guys at work in SC in a sort of emotional argument over something that for sure didn't matter. Rocky was going at it with Rusty (another Rusty). Rusty said, "Rocky, that's just plain stupid as hell." Rocky got all fired up and said, "Well, that's just the way I AM!" HAHAAAHAHAHAH!!!!! Rednecks. Yep, I'm in.
