  • Another local "project" corvette for sale.

Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

Looks like it should be a money-maker - IF the windshield posts are intact. A buddy of mine got into one of those and it was a REAL PITA! Not sure of what else rusts away underneath those.

My wife calls those Corvettes pooper-scoopers, that one just looks like poop.

Frame, Dash, Floorboards if they are steel. Brakes can also be expensive(in Canada anyhow) if the calipers are seized.

I'd pass - steel floors; but knock them down to less than 2k.... maybe. I spent 2500 for mine, and it came home on a trailer.

Very shortly, I'll have all the parts you'll need to fix the body

too bad you passed up "taste" when you were getting your talents; other than your complete lack of taste, you're a pretty nice guy

A really nice 76 can be barely worth $10K (I sold a fair 72 with a ZZ4 in it last year for 10K). So, do the math.

Mr. T starter set would work though -

I'm really in the mood to buy a C3 Corvette right now, but that one's looking pretty sad. I want a chrome bumper car, preferably '70 - '72, but I could be tempted by the right '68-'69. What do you need to look for when buying one of these?

I think it's great that Stiney is wrapping up his other projects and ready to start another ;)

NO! He is a SBG wannabe groupie....
Since Aaron finished (sorta) his vette, Stiney thinks he can too..

Looks like you could convert this one to a crome bumper car as cheaply as putting it back to 76 specs.

I'm certainly not a Corvette expert but after taking one look at that I'd turn and run, and remember pictures are liars so it will probably look even worse when you see it!
