here's our old rig, and yup, no cdl here.....it had a bathroom in the trailer. so we called it a RV.
it's the only way to travel....until you get where you are going, and have to set it all up.

the more space you have, the more junk you'll bring.
we had a car, a golf cart, bicycles, and a grill, among many things. our pit looked like a parking lot.
the main reason we brought the car is so we could go to the casino's.

Ok, guys and gals, I got the inside scoop on this cool 6 cylinder dragster. The car is owned and driven by Pan Nahan of St. Cloud, Mn in NHRA Competition Eliminator E/Dragster. The engine is based on a 300 CID straight 6 from a Ford truck and now displaces 302 cubic inches and features an Allen Johnson aluminum cylinder head. The engine was built by Gary Stinnett in Emporia, Ks. (Yes, THE Gary Stinnett of NHRA S/C and S/S fame) and is one bad beeotch! He is currently qualified #12 at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Heartland Championships at Topeka, but qualified #2 at both Brainerd and Cordova divisional races earlier this season. I hope you enjoy the pics and video. On the run in the video, Nahan posted an elapsed time of 7.798. The car has been much quicker, but a nasty headwind and high humidity really dampened his effort.

It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

That and the fact that the cylinder head cost more than the GNP of some small countries.

Awesome dragster, but I have never understood the mindset of comp eliminator racers. MASSIVE investment for minimal return, but hey, if you can afford it....have fun!

I know I love to watch and annouce them!

Yes,they do tend to spend the coin, but hey,it's not MY $$$$. It's kinda odd,'A-J' builds these Cylinder 'Heads, but,I've never heard of a Block made by Him/or the aftermarket ??? Oh,well. ~OO6.

Re: Fresh out of the Neil & Parks shop...

For this specific application? His company developed and sells the 481X blocks that lots of TAFC racers run, but he does not make anything for the 6-popper Ford.

Here's a link to the page for the heads:

Click on cylinder heads and then go down to the Ford head.

If you need to know how much it costs...you can't afford it.
