ok, I've been thinking about it for a couple of hours and I'm sure as soon as you say it, I'll feel like an idiot.........but...........what does "nice use of a big f stop" mean???

f stop is the aperture setting on a camera lens. The bigger the f stop ( low number) the more open the aperture is and the depth of field is shorter. It's done to make the subject sharp and clear and everything else fuzzy. A little liberal use of "f" as well ;)
