I don't usually like Euro styled hot-rods, but this thing is insane.

A Fiat 500 with a 4WD Lambo chassis and 580hp V12 motor in the back seat! Super clean bodywork too.

I have no idea where to start with this one. In all the years I’ve been writing about different feature cars I’ve never seen anything quite this insane, or been so dumbfounded. I mean that. Right here and now, I’ll freely state that the Oemmedi Meccanica Fiat 500 is quite possibly the most out there …

I liked the bright yellow '73 Super Beetle that had the Euro bumpers, flip up headlights and front fenders like a Porsche 935. It had the 935's wing, wide wheels, Pirelli 305/30/15's and the full drive train from the Porsche. I saw it at a rest stop on the Autobahn in '85.

those super cars demanding nanosecond functions. My obsession with alternators lately..

that car is faster than its origin by more than light body. Must be like a bolt of lightning.

that build is getting old, I wonder why speed hunters is just getting a story now.

Probably fun to drive. Too bad it's butt ugly.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. I think it's super cool. Wish I had one. Bet it's fun.

Yeah, I like it. If it was just rear drive it would be a death trap. I'd actually go for a ride in it. And that's after a totaled Shelby GT 500 show and tell ride with a friend a year ago.

Front half is nice and whimsical. Air scoops on the "hips" are too big. Color is sleep-inducting. It might be too "cab forward" in profile.

Overall, it's a nice find and undoubtedly a fun whip.
