Image upload to topic -> Almost annoyingly cumbersome...

It used to be a 'bit' more simpler before. Not slick as on other forums, but easier.
Now it's kinda annoying having to click a number of times on various buttons before a picture is finally added to the post.
I really wonder what clown at vBulletin came up with this 'update'.

In addition;
Uploading an image directly from an iPhone seems impossible now after the last forum-update.
I tried uploading a pic from my iPhone yesterday but couldn't get it done anymore.
It used to work fine earlier, but now with the new upload-function, after selecting and adding a pic, I can't return to the topic anymore. I'm just left with a blanc screen after clicking 'done'. Hitting 'Back' takes me back to the topic itself and no remains of my reply.

I know this can't be solved 'easily' by the BS-brass, but maybe one of the site-geeks can locate/install a better attachment upload mod for the forum?

Anyone else having these issues?

did you try "go advanced"? it has an attatchment manager

Yes, that's actually what I ment. Maybe I should have mentioned that in my post.

Besides copy/pasting an image-link, there's no other way to attach/upload an image to a post.
It 'works' on a desktop/laptop, but not on my iPhone.
Not sure if Android phones have this issue aswell?



EDIT:
ok, I did some snooping around and stumbled on a tidbit in the General Settings about 'Enhanced attachment uploading'.
I've now turned it off to see if that solves the issue I'm having.

Ok, that seemed to have fixed it, somewhat.
I never turned ON this Enhanced Attachment Uploading, but with it turned OFF the upload-screen is as-before again.

Luckily all our lives can proceed again..!

I use Photobucket.........but many times I can just copy and paste to get end results.
