Deadliest Catch Fans????

I was curious if any of you watch the "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery???

I personally love the show, and the hardcore work ethic of the fisherman on the show....I have spent a lot of time in the Bering Sea and it is the most brutal place on the planet. It is one of the few "reality" shows that are worth being aired.

Just curious if I was the only gearhead who liked the show...

Im glad they show the repeats as I didnt come in till after midnight, but i still got to watch it. Discovery, and Tv land are the channels my wife and I watch .

Would agree those guys are a different breed that earn there money, just watched the after the catch when they were talking to Phil about his health issues. Now that is some scary stuff

I don't make it a point to watch it, but if I see it's on, I'll watch it. For some reason I can't stand that Ice Road Truckers show. Those guys do a dangerous job too and that guy that's the boss treats them all like they are a bunch of idiots. "don't send a boy to do a man's job" he says in the commercial. What an A**hole

It's a Ron Howard film. 2 hour documentary on the Apollo missions that went to the moon. I loved it. I'm sure it will repeat.

I'll look for that one. The thing I don't like about "Deadliest Catch" and "Ice Road Truckers" is I often wonder while watching (I only catch an episode or two a season) it is how much drama is created vs. real. Occassionally things they say just sound either forced or poorly acted (like out of character). The jobs in either case are plain dangerous, and there is no exaggerating that fact, just the drama I can do with out, but that's 75% of the show. Not to mention how many times they need to repeat themselves after each commercial break, they could shave a 1/2 hour off some of the episodes of either right there. I flat refuse to watch Ax Men after catching 1/2 an episode.
