  • Damn Am I A Sucker

For used Nascar parts that is. I already have a pan like this but another one came up on Ebay for sale. And gosh darn it's so pretty I had to have it, "you know" just in case something ever happens to the other one I have. This is going on the twin turbo small block I'm building which is going to have a dry sump system. So anyone else have this affliction in buying parts that you really don't need?

that is a beautiful piece. I first thought of those 6.2 diesels that needed a girdle.

    Nice stuff.

I fall for old offenhauser, when I can.

A matching 4 stage dry sump pump would be a start

Nascar engines are 358", if you are running the longer stroke 400; you will need to clearance the pan.

nice score! i've got a piece of tony stewarts car from when he ran the 24 hours at daytona many years ago.

not sure why, but i took a pic of this offy intake last summer at a swap meet. IIRC he wanted $125 for it? swap meet next weekend here.

The stroke on the crank I have is 3.270, shouldn't have a problem.
