    Port injected.

They had an interesting 2 piece intake.

We had some for work trucks and the 2wd 5 speed extracab truck was my favorite one to take on long road trips. Got decent mileage and just plonked along year after year.
Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

I'll get 17 with my 4x4 on the highway. In town I get 13.

i had a 94 reg cab long bed 2wd that was a manuar huller at a local farm with rust weight reduction and the factory holed frame for reduced weight ;)

it also had the POS mazda 5 speed truck got 20mpg though and the frame rotted out at 300,000 and sold the engine. the engine is still running in a dump truck at a local farm

surely if you can find one with the mazda 5 speed that someone hasn't put 90 weight into and killed (they take ATF not gear oil like T5s)
they do better on fuel of course.

low teens from an EFI inline six means there's something wrong.
There's always something new to learn.

I have a 95 single cab swb with the 300. I have owned it since 1996. It now has 198,000 miles on it. It is my go to vehicle when I have to get somewhere and don't want to worry about any issues. Won't get anywhere in a hurry but will pull down a house.

I love my truck. I have considered upgrading many times, just can't seem to part with this truck.

I'd get one if you can. Like everybody else said, you can't kill them. Mine had 200k on it and it didn't burn or leak oil. Power steering fluid was a different story.
