Robots!

That time of year again. I've been working with our local high school team the NERDS, and a new team from Tombstone, the RoboJackets. We showed off our robots at the Mall on Friday, and yesterday played with them at a scrimmage in Phoenix.

Both robots are in the back of my 57 suburban right now....

We'll compete with them March 20-22 in Chandler AZ, and April 3-5 in Las Vegas.

How do the NERD kids take to the Suburban. I'll wager a lot of them have never seen such a thing nor a guy who can pull something like this out of the weeds and make a ride out of it. Bet they think you're a mad genius! (I'm not too sure about the "genius" part........"

Years ago I always liked to watch these robot-contests when they were showing them on TV occassionally overhere.
But since television as an entertainment medium is way down the drain already, I will probably have to hang around on Youtube a bit more to get my fix!
