  • From what little I know about diesels - they'd have more of a mexican hat shape in the dome - and typically have a flat cylinder head surface with "vertical valves" on the same axis as the piston centerline of motion......

    I'm going to guess flathead - long skirt, no valve reliefs, flat or slightly domed top..... flat head, Ford, maybe, continental?
    There's always something new to learn.

          There's no replacement for displacement. (Archimedes, not Otto.)

                        • i saw it saturday going out to a friends shop checking out a S10 frame clip for the 56, I cant believe I never saw before, maybe cause its winter time and theres no leaves on the trees around it

                            • Here's one for all you NASCAR folks out there, most especially the ones who understand what a tour modified was. The date was 7/26/2003, and this is the guardrail coming out of turn 4 at Bowman-Grey Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC. In fact, it's the old B-Bomb, the ex-Teddy Bear Pools car that Reggie drove and whooped ass in, usually at Riverside, Thompson, and Monadnock up north...

                              • Bowman Grey is 20 minutes from me. Alot of my friends go to watch the racing there. Ive never been, sadly, but this racing season im going to some races.
