    I remember American history with a 12cyl on gas they tried to mimick a diesel... looks like two on barrels straining for life.

    jaguar "xf sportbrake"

    2.2 liter diesel.
    4000 pound car, 300 foot pounds, 200hp and 50mpg.

    my boxer can't even climb that.

      Probably an American LaFrance/Seagrave V12. Twin plugs are for for the redundant magneto/points ignition systems since in the early days points were reliable enough to count on them to get it started most of the time but if you wanted it to stay running, you had a magneto to keep it that way.

      Just a guess however.
