Nice light, cheap, short wheelbase body. Great choice for a Trar build.

Meet Bill from Denver and his 4-door hotrod. What a cool guy. I'm not a Dodge guy or a late model guy at all, but this one caught our eye. The paint scheme is NOT factory, they had the stripes put on there. The wheels, surprised me, ARE factory. This is one cool ride, it made us talk to him. Really nice guy, too, Bill and his lady get a lot of attention parking anywhere in this thing.

We drove past this today, after waiting in the conga line for about a half hour, just about to run out of gas. About an hour earlier, I had the thought....we were going 75-80 mph, trying to stay out of the way. But some folks were going way faster than that, weaving and changing lanes to carve through heavy traffic. My thought to myself was, "Y'all keep on driving like that, and y'all just go ahead on up there and wreck, and the rest of us will be held up waiting because of you trying to gain a few minutes on a long trip."
Yep, it came true. Unit found this photo on the net, that's it alright, we were there. And we're not sure, but that MAY be Bubba the Truck in the photo. Not sure if that's Bubba and not really sure that's even a truck. But it could be, that sure looks just like all of the vehicles that were around us waiting in line.
EDIT: The photo is fuzzy, but that SUV upside down in the median to our left of that truck that used to be pulling that camper trailer....I recognized that SUV as being one that had completely blown our doors off about 15 minutes before everybody had to stop.

Formula Drift Update:
Forrest Wang was runner-up in THIS car I like, like, LIKE the wrap on....
The winner was Frederic Aasbo. MY current favorite. I was at his first race ever in the U.S. a few years back in his Supra. The biggest corner in Long Beach has something called the second outside zone. Corner entrances and exits are zones and the apex is the clipping point. Since the second corner is 180 degrees and the third a hairpin most drivers USED to be content to just flirt with 2nd outside zone. The tire wall was stacked very high just in case a beginner went for it. Frederic was the FIRST driver to "fill" the second zone by getting to that wall yet continuing and getting whoa'ed. in time for the hairpin. His car just vanished behind the too high stack of tires.
Anyway he got the Toyota sponsorship, but they put him in varying combos reflecting their current models. He took the championship in a hotted up GT86. BUT this year Aasbo STRUCK while the iron is hot with this Hot Rod drift BUGGY. The Corolla is getting a facelift and NO WAY could Toyota push him into ANYTHING Corolla driveline. This Toy has the legendary 2JZ cranked up over 1000 HP in the tiny package. He is able to just DOG his competitor's larger cars with it.
