Today I installed a new fuel regulator with gauge right next to the carb.
The regulator was too tall to go under the air cleaner so´s I moved it out a tad.
The old one lived right on top of the fuel pump making pressure changes rather hazardous.

Good Move! That way the whole fuel line sees full pump pressure. MoPar claimed they saw losses going from a 3/8 to a 1/2 inch fuel line because the weight of the gas in the line under acceleration offset the reduced restriction. Food for thought.

Oh, uh, just spotted the mechanical pump. Do you also have an electric?

Downside is now if you spring a leak it will REALLY leak! Now go buy a tiny air cleaner!

He bought in Belgium, apparently it's easier to import there, and then imported it into Spain.
My neighbor has a year old Mustang, he ordered it through a Ford dealer.
It must be possible to import from the States but
the paperwork would be horrendous.

Wow.... The Truck is sounding so HAPPY with the BIG turbo here. Not your typical Larson bang, snap, crackle, pop tune up. Wonder if he can run this setup with a removable turbo/radiator swap on Drag Week?

Hot weather, wild fires inevitable...somehow they always get started. Neighborhoods about 10 minutes from here being evacuated but CalFire is bringing out the big guns.


Edit: Threat mostly contained by sunset, winds were not bad. It was nice to see that L-1011 flying, reminds me a little of back when B-17s were kept in the air being workhorses so long, doing fire duty. I'd hate to see the bill for calling that thing in however.

Further edit: Good Lord, I know what kind of airplane that is, it ain't no L-1011! Can't type and think at the same time, sometimes.
