                        • Love this shot. It looks current until you see the stickers are 70s. When was the last time you heard of Kustom headers or a Savage clutch?

meh. looks like a C3 vette, and we all know how much you hate those.
it was even designed by the same guys, and if you thought the C3
was underpowered, try that 1.9 in the opel on....

                              i had a 73 opel gt. a 302 ford with a tunnelram and a race prepped c-4 trans
along with a shortened 8.75" mopar rear fixed all the disappointments.

I was more interested in the fact it had hair dryers on it "back then". Somehow the Opel GT was pretty universally accepted and loved as a sports car. Mostly because it was made in Germany I think. I don't know what it was like to drive a Fiat Topolino, but they made great drag cars.

I never claimed the C3 was underpowered. It was under rear ended. That IRS unit never thought the cars lacked power, that's for damn sure. Detroit has mostly got that IRS thing figured out after another 50 years although it seems Dodge Demons still frag them quite often.

You COULD out up a pic of your Opel GT.
