I took these just for Eagle. One of the two remaining '70 AMC AMX/III's. Hey, Kyle, the keys were in it!!! There were ten built for testing, but AMC's bean counters said they'd have to charge more than a Corvette in order to make a profit. They gave this one and one other to the designer and crushed the remaining eight test cars.
390 mid engine greatness.
#19 of the 50 Tucker Torpedos built. 47 of those 50 are still road worthy. Not bad for an upstart with his upstart company and upstart cars of the future. They were powered by a rear mounted, all aluminum, air cooled, boxer style six cylinder Franklin helicopter engine that only weighed 335 pounds.
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
