    • A few pictures of my local area yesterday after the flood waters crested here in the Binghamton NY area. It surpast the 06 floods that surpast 100 year flood maps yet after the clean up back then they said we'd never have another one that bad in the future. And yet here we are.

DEC, Political people, EPA, whoever- I think its time to dredge the center of the Susquehanna River, and remove the HUGE islands with massive tree growing on them, that are displacing the water over the banks worse and worse every year.

BUT NO, you may kill a frog or it'd cost money to do.

Highways RT 81, RT88 and RT 17/86 all had miles flooded grid locking the local area

            • Two of my favorite T/A cars drove by Bath NY's own Jerry Titus back in the day.

My friend Jack Connelly took these at Watkins Glen this morning while attending the Vintage weekend

Worse than '72 here. Highest recorded floodwater to date.

                  • either need to build bigger levees or raise the town a few feet higher. They had to do both in Sacramento in the 1850's. They also built over flow channels that when the river gets to a certain height up river from town, the water runs over and floods the fields, not downtown.
