I found a computer forum in 2001, it was related to silence and cooling for computers. My short lived claim to fame was 1014 Mhz on a 900 athlon, late 90s.

the computer is not compared to hot rodding, there is no classics.

I remained sarcastic, right into 2015, not forgetting that place that was alive and working to calm the behemoths of giant micron and 130watt heat dissipation.,,back when the big fan thumped like a small engine at 80mm and 2 watts just to run.

I just posted this , after declaring I'd be back in july 2015...I post in 10000 hour intervals as if a satellite orbiting on my own time.
that was 14months ago, and my guess turned out to be correct for the 10000 more hours on my custom build.

Today that forum only had me as a logged in member, and one guest.

My custom build outlasted the forum.
it left off with 52000 views.

70000 hours is 7.985 years. The hdd is keeping track.
some nerd stuff..At 7200 rpm, 3.5 inch platter...every minute is travelling 1.248 miles.
at 70000 hours, if a wheel on earth, it travelled 5,245,227 miles.
I had this written at 7million, 10000 hours ago..I must have made a wrong calculation.

my anger is long gone done with this pentium 4 at 12 years old now. Moving onto another combo, of course stacking it up myself, leaving the bios alone.
Anyone remember changing volts .1 at a time?

Back to hot rodding.. and not forgetting the lessons, as the computer is taking over my stuff.

Nope.. Very strong derby car.. Still see 2-3 per derby.. They bend the pinch part of the frame over and weld them up..
Don't see any on the road tho..
