No, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn one time. Hey, it looks like your time slips from your runs didn't come through or didn't get attached or something ^^^.

          • Ah... Acceptance Day! Those not quite smacks (freshmen prior to Recognition but after Acceptance) in the background look very relaxed. I remember this being a bit more of a formal event. Did big brother tell him to get his chin in?

I'll be going for my 20th sometime this year so might run into them.

            • He should have! But he was saying stuff that made him laugh. Haha!!

Some squads formed lines and it was more organized and formal. Judd's (Stalag 17) was more random and relaxed.

I'm glad to have both boys there together. I think it will make Judd's Doolie year a bit more tolerable.

                          • Yep that's the one (there can't be many, huh). What a machine, I had to just stand and stare a while. Close up, it has an interesting mix of highly-polished perfectly-straight sheet metal and old beat-to-crap skin, also highly polished...evidence of many years of hard use and alternately, careful restoration. Basically a national treasure.

                            • More airplane stuff then I'll quit (grin). My nephew who was a studious toe-the-line type unlike me is these days a battalion commander for Cal Fire, directing air drop and ground action from an OV-10 Bronco. He just posted this video that's my kind of stuff, no blah-blah-blah and short (7 minutes). His is the main voice flying, and the female voice is a pilot not a dispatcher.
