I live near a highway that is popular with the weekend drivers, in the hills near San Diego.
GT40s are too low and difficult to see out of. Porcshes, Ferraris, new Bentleys etc. get the looks but mainly show up at the theater benefit and don't make it out this way much. There are a lot of sport bikers and a good assortment of various hot rods.
Top choice, among those who seem to really be having a good time?
Shelby Cobra replicas. Sometimes there's lots. They are plenty cramped but it doesn't make so much difference when the top's down. Second place: Corvettes. Vettes are more comfy but Cobras turn the heads.
