Malc emailed me and showed me a screeen shot of his computer. He's using this shot of my rotted interior as a wallpaper. I think a intervention is needed.

I'd much rather have Carl's interior pic of his 67 Elky.

Rotted? Gutted maybe..... Doesn't look to bad to me.
                Escaped on a technicality.

Re: The EPA wants to stop old-car restoration

if this crap does pass, i'll just build me a 4x4 paint booth for motorcycle parts and get it certified, then just spray cars out in the shop like i always have. i guess i could charge more then since the guys that would undercut me couldn't buy paint anymore. ;D

Yeah, they can make focking laws and bullshit concerning our cars, but let our children chew on lead toys for years, even the clothes made in china, the blankets all have lead in them....no telling what were being poisoned with.....screw the Government......

To much Money from sales of Auto related products will change the way they see it. No Products no Taxes. SO, I highly doubt it.

Re: The EPA wants to stop old-car restoration

Saw a blurb in the local paper about a week ago, says the Ontario government is looking at cars over 12 years old as a major cause of pollution. Ya gotta know where this is headed.
A few years ago, they started running stories about "street racing". Now if you are caught going more than 50 KMH (31 MPH) over the speed limit they can impound your car, right then and there. There is no chance to redeem yourself in court, this is all at the discretion of the cop that stops you.
I'll bet, in a few years, you won't be allowed a daily driver over a certain age.
Maybe it is time to start collecting guns!
