why we missed drag week. lots of pics.

things were going well last year working on our nova project this is how it looked in april with lots of time to finish it off before drag week. we did plan on going.





the set up is a stock 6.0 truck motor with lots of boost. twin staged fuel system pump/meth. 4l80e.


then... i started a new project and the nova got set aside till about a week ago. i have been dreaming about this for many years and finialy got around to doing it.































there is still a lot to do. still have 1/2 of the floor to do, the drive and that upstairs room is going to be something really cool some day. we started working on the nova again and will be out in the spring with it. if they run drag week again we hope to be there

Way cool.....as good a reason to miss Drag Week as any.

That garage is something I'm aspiring to(makes me miss that 1-car garage I had at the old house)....post more pics as it progresses!

tons of wagon pics here >>http://www.neufamily.org/images/67novagallery/ we are really excited to try the staged duel fuel set up. we should be able to tool around on pump gas and have it switch over to meth as we roll into the throttle. if it works well it will be something like 600-700rwhp on tap at any time. after we get it all tuned our next goal is to find the absolute limit of a stock longblock. we plan on turning it up till it dies. we will take small steps and watch the tune closely. after it lets go then we will be puting something built in there. probably a stout lsx block set up. next year is going to be fun.
