    Not a mechanic.. I follow what was said above - that I don't want my hobby to be ruined by making it my career.

      I used to, enjoyed it, but when the family starts, benifits need to inprove, so now i fix forklifts, equipment, etc for a bigger co with bennies!!

        I used to freelance bodywork when I was younger (read: before Army)...but it burnt me out so bad on cars I didn't even bother for a long time after..

        Now I just wrench on helicopters. Much easier, actually.
        Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

          I had scholarships to UCLA, CSUN, and Arizona state.
          Decided to go after a dream of taking care of customers and their cars. always working in the car business.

          I should have taken one of the scholarships back in the 80s.

          I you do decide to get fully into cars at a dealership, just remember to keep going to school for other things, just for backup..
