"Well, any car is a LOT more interesting with an FE in it..."--Jay Brown
This got me to thinking. I've been trying to find a way to make my '67 Camaro (Crusher) unique, and not just another Camaro. We were going to clone it as a '67-era Modified Production car.
But instead, would it be fun to put an oddball engine in it? I tried a Hemi a long time ago but the steering box gets in the way. So how about a Ford FE? An Olds 455? A 302 Ford with a blow-through on it? A 4.3 V-6 with a blow-through on it? I have all those engines.
Any other ideas on cool but freakish engine swaps for a '67 Camaro? It would have to be something that did not require irreversible modifications. No diesels.
