D.F. Your background

Dave,I was just wondering how you became involved in the magazine biz.
Did you study journalism in school,or have something to do with your fathers
biz,or was in the right place at the right time?Just curious.

I was just a kid into cars and mags. My dad was a TV commercial producer so we went to a lot of drag races and NASCAR stuff for Plymouth and Goodyear. I got a job in the aftermarket, met a lot of editors, and just started doing it. I have no degree.

After the trans mount thing, I figured your degree was in TightWadFu. Its okay if you don't want to admit it, one should never let on to ALL of ones abilities.... :-X

Naw, just a guy with no budget from the mag, only one day scheduled at the track, and a deadline looming.
