Well it looks like detroit is no longer the auto show to go to anymore. Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Mitsubishi, Land Rover, Nissan (and infinatey), and Porsche (not there last year either) all have pulled out. Although Bugatti (who cares...) and Lotus will be there this year.


Not that i care too much about the brands not showing up, but it's kinda sad the worlds biggest show is almost worthless now.

Come on...don't be so quick to cash in your chips just yet.

Yeah, times are damn hard, and things generally suck all over in terms of financials.....but we've been down before.


Don't start tossin' dirt on the coffin just yet.

Some would say its BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) time to lead and ours to get out of the way.

I subscribe to The Economist" and you should see some of the stuff they are predicting. On the other hand they missed the boat on more than half of what they thought this year would end up like.

As far as Detroit goes it would be foolish to let the automotive industry fall apart and I doubt 17 billion is going to go very far.

I don't know about Chrysler though...
