Bah, weird. I never got into the 2-door wag thing, even the factory versions. That's cool, though. I would've loved the thing for a daily.

Re: What happened to the Cheap Thrills dart?

Just thought of another car that I'm curious about...

What about Magnante's '62 Valiant with the \6? I thought that was a cool piece.

Steve's Slant/6 eventually wound up in Australia, along with the Car itself. I think. ~J/W-OO6.

So much for the "cheap" part, huh?

I wonder if it still has the custom transmission mount...

DF found the car some time back and tried to negotiate a sale with the dude but the owner (obviously) was way off base....It was in hot rod so its worth 9K more than it would be normaly (moron)

I think this dude will have it for sale for a long long time at that price.

I think it would be worth it to buy for 12k, if you did what needed to be done with the car--that is, get it back together and driving, and take it on Drag Week.

Maybe $5k, just because DF owned it and it was in HotRod doesnt make it highly sought after or collectible. Its not a freakin Hemi Dart now is it?
