Prolly a SBC. I've put Pontiacs in the last few hot rods. It's time to conserve money a bit. SBC=cheap. Pontiac=not so cheap

How bad could your day be? I would think being with your wife and kid on Christmas day would make you smile all day.

I would much rather have been at the shop doing something like that then what I did all day.

That looks like a WAY cool project. You have some good friends.

The day was going great.....then my sister came over. It was all downhill after that.

My biggest petpeave in life is when someone comes to MY HOUSE.....and asks me not to smoke in it. I do not pay my mortgage so that I can smoke outside....F*&^%$ my day all up. Not to mention that she is a pain in the ass.

And I ran out of Pepsi....Damn.

Sorry for the Hijack Groucho....Just venting a little.

Think about it Seth. How many more car parts could you buy with your cigarette money. Just saying, not preaching. I hear what you're saying, though.

                  So groucho, what's next?

I spent all afternoon in my 'Mancave' working on my daughter computer. Total rebuild with new hard drive, processor and a dvd burner. By the time I finished loading all the programs after installing windows it was dark. By the way, I pay the mortgage on our home and my wife still won't let me smoke inside, hence the 'Mancave'. ;D 12x24 portable garage converted to a 12x16 getaway room and a 12x8 storage room. Wired it for my Direct tv and DSL with a 32 inch TV. I can smoke all I want, wife never comes out here. ;D Of course, I don't go in the house much either.

                            back on track....

Hey Grougho...that '38 made me think: An old cat wrote in to Hot ROd a little while back, talkin' 'bout an old '38 Chevy he had for several decades(be bought it in High Scoll, think it was the 1950's/early 1960's)hat recently sold due to his not having enough time to get to it.

He was in the SoCal area...I'm wondering if this might possibly be the same car?

Keep us posted....if it's anything like that bitchin' Vette you have, it'll be a knockout for sure!
