Favorite part you like, or always put on a car when you get it?

I told my wife Summit has an "A" list from me when I start to order parts they are always from the same list!
But My favorite part is new wheels and tires, I think they make or break a car.
Theres other stuff but the wheels are my number one priority.

tires and wheels..not always new..as i had a couple of sets..typically chevy rallys and kellys of nova rallys and BFGs...
new carpet, monster tach and valve covers...(every project car i have owned got the new carpet deal...either wrong color-my 78 camaro-or just dead worn out)

I always say that a car is not really yours until you've hand washed it. Or in my case, Comet-washed it.

Good wash, and a change of fluids. That way you have a good starting point. From then on, and if it is drivable, it's cruise time. 8)

I think you've got it all wrong here- the favorite part is what you take out, not put in. My latest buy, the Satellite was full of goodies, just the trunk had misc hand tools, shocks, Melling performance street cam, a new set of lifters, roller timing chain, trailer hitch assembly, a set of rockers and shafts (nice), bunch of primary wire, and a complete labratory oscilliscope. Inside, a nice blanket, bundle of shop rags; uner the hood, bottle of brake fluid, ect... ;D

I always pretty much gut the interior first thing to figure out what kind of cool stuff I can find.

The first thing I usually do (after getting it driveable and fixing little stuff) is figure out a way to get the stance right. If that means I have to cut some coils, so be it.
