GM sues to get access to new Camaro parts and tooling
Uh-oh...this could get ugly. Sounds like the Corporate version of a body shop shutting down and locking the doors with your car still in the paint booth.
Re: GM sues to get access to new Camaro parts and tooling
Because GM went with suppliers... like everyone else did....
Don't get terribly concerned; this is the legal way to get stuff that belongs to you - and really, it sounds far more blunt then it really is - by GM taking this route, they don't have to worry about future bad things happening (like being sued by the supplier's creditors).

We are living in a FU#KED up world, when you have to fight to get your own stuff back. It's BOOSHIT man
I couldn't agree more. But haven't we all heard stories about guys who have a car at the paint shop when the shop owner files bankruptcy, mechanics show up to work and find their stuff locked up inside when the company locks the doors, etc.? Seems like the same BS, but on a huge scale.
What I find really interesting is that the story says Chrysler went through the same thing earlier this year and THEY LOST! How the hell does that work?

I realize why they are doing it,but it would be like Ford suing to get
back the Edsel tooling.Too ugly.
It's like an ebb and flow - for years companies took more and more in house... (such as Ford with the Model A) then it became the fad to divest their ownership of the companies.... this situation is the downside of that type of divestment....

Did Chrysler owe the supplier money? Maybe Chrysler was the reason they went bankrupt...
The official Bangshift garage door guru. Just about anything can be built using garage door parts, trust me.
