what if you had a theroy that someone was bending the rules....
i had a lightning bolt strike me today, while i was taking down the christmas lights.
i opened my big mouth, and now i'm waiting for the death threats,
i was on the phone for hours about this today. so it was all up to me to bring it out.

Not wrong. I'd have 15 gallons sitting in a drum of dry ice at the first race just to see WTF would happen with tech.

Talk about a high powered soap opera...Jasus. What the hell happed to strap it on and race?

Actually, I happen to agree with you. The rules are there for the interpretation. I happen to run a class that each and every rule has to be read and used (or abused) to it's fullest value. I applaud your out of the box thinking.

I don't think you're outta line... if you didn't, somebody else probably woulda... just a question of when.

Funny, there was a long thread on 'cheating' within the rules and outside of the rules a little bit ago... lotsa talk about Smokey Yunick.

Still, stuff ain't illegal until the rulebook says so.

Alan Johnson tests the rules to the point of the size and length of the air lines feeding the timers. Rules are simply guide lines hehe
