A little info for you guys, pre '98(lt1 cars) had functional ram air setups that where incorporated into the hood
Where, pictures? I have a 95 lt1 Z28 and it has no "functional" ram air.

Are you talking about those two vents close to the windshield in the stripes, if so those are non-functional as the the throttle body and air filter are in the nose of the car ;).

I believe he's referring to the LT1/Lt4 "SS" models.

Those DID have a functional Ram Air setup....airbox bolted to the top of the intake p[lenum, had a rubber duct that curved around from the air filter housing to the inlet side of the throttle body.

They are awesome....Both of them. I race a Z28....but would go for the T/A if it was mine.

        LT1 T/A

As for the LS1 era cars. The Camaros looked cleaner, but the T/A ads were the best.

I was talking about the SS's that came with ram air hoods, the LT1 SS's had functional ram air through the hood scoop, where the LS1 SS's didn't.

Trust me I know, I have the SLP ram air kit on my car.

I think the exact opposite. I like the LT1 Camaros better, the LS1 cars look like catfish.

                LS1 T/As are awesome though.

I happen to be somewhat partial to those cars for some reason.
