My flu was bad enough to stick me in the hospital overnight. Hearing that makes me glad to have our Canadian healthcare system--CNN might call it "evil" and "communist," but it's still free!!

Heard that there are more CAT scan machines in the city of Philadelphia than in the whole country....

I lived in Canada for 2yrs, free medical care is not enough to make me want to go back.

Fortunately, we have excellent insurance thanks to ME's retirement. There will be a party at BC/BS when I get on Medicare! You don't want to see my monthly med bills, but our deductible isn't too bad. 15 pills a day, 1 or which is a vitamin.

Hope all are feeling better following your colds/flu. Had mine a couple of weeks ago but back to normal now - it DOES end!

I've been sick for a couple of days. I think I got it from DF. He gave me a virus through the computer.

It made changing the heater core on Bill's Monte Carlo hell. Lying under the dash board for two days has been murder. It took three times longer than it should because all of the coughing.

I know how you feel DF. I just had the flu for 2 day. Back to work this morning and I feel like I got ran over by a bus. Nothing like ringing in the new year by hugging some toliet!!!!lol
