Re: What kind plates ya got......?

I'm in Missouri, and have regular personalized plates on my Monte, NT TRLD "not trailered" and Historic plates on the Malibu. The Malibu doesn't even make it the 1000 miles per year, didn't require a safety inspection and I don't live in an emmissions testing area. Basically I'm done at the license office with that car unless something changes. Also looked over the application and couldn't find any 100 mile radius limit? The 1000 mile per year restriction is for personal use, any car related activity (parade, to/from repair shop, etc.) does not count towards the total. My Father just put the same plates on his 70 Chevelle.

    GM G-bodies, because I can't afford a 69 Camaro.

Re: What kind plates ya got......?

The wife picked up the "Environmental" plate for my truck(outdoors crap), regular plates on the rest of the fleet.

Considered getting the IMS specialty plates for the Camaro....unless there's a wild chance they have NHRA-themed plates as well.

No inspections, no BS, no worries.......for now.

Steve, thanks for that. When I travel to Fl. and see all the different plates I always think "how many do they have to choose from".

Look on back of the application (Its a three part application)......actually says 'Historic vehicle may be
driven to and from events, to repair facilities within 100 mile limit and may be driven up to 1000 miles per
          year for personal use'
The log now has to be downloaded from the internet........license office used to carry them but no more.

The year of manufacture plate is getting real popular around here.

I like Missouri's set up with just a one time fee........and we don't get hung with
          big taxes on personal property.
