    clever.

    I was using a vise on a bar stool.. flopped over easy.

    that gets every which way sitting down.

              If I could offer one improvement on that, it would be to put a sleeve over the exposed ram portion of the bottle jack so as to keep welding sparks, slag and grinding grit away from the top seal of the jack.
              It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

                An old shock boot would handle that, good idea Ron.

                  Having the same thought on the shock boot. VERY clever design! I have the discs - anyone with a bowling ball?
