      • So far....trimmed the lower front corner off, and did some bodywork on the front fenders, and primed them. Hopefully they'll be red tonight.

        • Tried to put the 4.11s in this week, too much time being sick on the couch. It's in the trailer, heading for the drag strip. In 3 minutes.

                TV cable on a Ford EFI upgraded to Holley 4bbl. Throttle cable attaches next to the TV cable.

                  I've just been smoothing out the tune on my Firebird. Dang, once I got the AFR's dialed in to right at 13.0 while power braking at 1,500rpm it really wants to push through the brakes, no more than half throttle otherwise it does go through the brakes.
                  Escaped on a technicality.

                        • Moved the trunk lid from sitting on the car to sitting on the trashcans where I will strip and paint it.

                          Then I went inside and started on homework.

                          • Put gas in it....from a gas can. Ran out about half way down my street and managed to coast just about home. 3 Gallons from the John Deere's gas can got it fired up and running again.

                            Sooooo close.
