the Tatra ..Tantra.. Tartar .. dangit. Whatever, was another one I started to post. It was pretty freaking cool by virtue of ugly and insanely aerodynamic. I couldn't remember Cheetah last night, woke up this morning and there it was.

    Maybe a 'vette Daytona ?

    something more functional?

If it were mine, I'd probably look for a G body with the viper spec t56 .050 OD. Maybe a wagon.. probably one of these

mine would end up looking like this more than likely:

the turbo buick motor I'm building almost ended up in a g-body wagon... I like those a lot. But still, why do you need a torque monster in a light wagon?

I thought you owned a diesel? Because torque is FUN! Do I really have to answer that?!

gear it to the moon and it will probably out MPG a 350?

Oh hell - AWD Astro!! Nobody would see that coming.

Because it's stupid-crazy fun that makes one giggle like a little girl?

when you get a C3 Corvette, you'll understand why I can easily say "no" to that suggestion.

LOL. A friend and I were just discussing putting an engine with more torque in my C10.

While a 500 Caddy would be pretty cool and have plenty-o-torque, I don't think it would help my dismal gas mileage.

Back to topic - I'm all for putting it in a Chevrolet - just to offend people; to make them ask "why?"

then all you folks would whine because I'm not getting my other projects done

and as to the diesel - why? I really don't need to get 1/3 of the mpg I get now. Further, the diesel has excellent torque and with the turbo, even decent hp... certainly it's not bad enough to warrant changing it.

yes, but with less grit in the undies.

hmmmm, the only way a cadillac 500 would be involved in that would be if I traded it for it.

though, with that said, that thing would be a kick - only slighly less dangerous than my CR500af

I think you owe it to Chad - with square headers and side pipes to go with the brass lamps.
