  • The new forum is finally working ok

Looks like they got it mostly tuned up and running smooth. Or maybe I just got used to it.

    Anyways, back to work...

Well....photos still have me on the ropes. But yeah, it's getting there. I'm back. I'm in. Life is nearly grand.

      Glad you like it.

Photos - the best way to do it:

Ignore the camera icon on the left, instead use the little paper icon on the right (third from the right).

When you have uploaded it, you'll get two options: Insert Thumbnail and Insert Image.

Select Insert Image and it *should* put the full size image into the post.

No, that doesn't work either. I'm running Windows 8 on a PC. I'm every bit as screwed as a Thanksgiving turkey on Christmas day, it won't let me do shit.

I wonder if we can add more than one picture, easily? Or if we have to do one at a time? Used to be we could get a place that would let us upload about 5-10 at once. ooh, it works! just select all the images at once after you click "upload attachment" (hint with Windows computers: hold the shift key as you select each one, it will let you select several) then you have to go down the list of thumbnails, and click "insert image" for each one, you can type text or just a few "enter"s between them to space them out or caption them.

Should be the same on Windows 8.
Click the attachment icon (third icon from the right on the editor...looks like a sheet of paper with a paperclip on it).
                  Click the "Upload Attachments" button.
Browse for your file...it should automatically upload.
Then you should see three links:
                  Insert Thumbnail Insert Image Remove
Make sure you click "Insert Image", it should insert some image code into the post.
                  Then submit the post.
