All of this is making me remember stuff. I think now I've at least talked with more cops than I thought. A tag number. They always want a tag number. "Did you get a tag number?" Of course they want a tag number. That's their free ticket to the bank. Like we can always get a tag number. No, he was coming the other direction at 190 mph.

What color was the car? Fast. What was the driver wearing? A grin. I'm no kind of a witness at all.

Cop asked me what a car sounded like when they came to ask about a guy beating a neighbor..I asked him, "Would you ask a blind man what color it is?"... His face sure was red!
