A Mercedes Actros at high speed. Frightening thought. We still have them at drag races, Bonneville, and Pikes Peak, last I checked...mostly Freightliners, Peterbilts, and Kenworths...

They have been racing the big trucks in Europe for quite some time now. I think there was an attempt at racing the big rigs at some of the big NASCAR tracks serveral years ago, but it was not to successful. If I remember correctly in Europe there is a minimum height rule. Something to do with actually being able to hook up to a trailer.
No matter what the rules are and how long they have been doing this it is really cool to watch those big trucks corner like they do.
