Good stuff, Malc....I do question the 5th wheels on those....clearly just decorative items.
Seems like there used to be a similar deal here inthe States some time ago..not certain if it's still around or not.
Those euro-trucks are putting out some SICK HP and torque numbers.... -

A Mercedes Actros at high speed. Frightening thought. We still have them at drag races, Bonneville, and Pikes Peak, last I checked...mostly Freightliners, Peterbilts, and Kenworths...Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

They have been racing the big trucks in Europe for quite some time now. I think there was an attempt at racing the big rigs at some of the big NASCAR tracks serveral years ago, but it was not to successful. If I remember correctly in Europe there is a minimum height rule. Something to do with actually being able to hook up to a trailer.
No matter what the rules are and how long they have been doing this it is really cool to watch those big trucks corner like they do.Comment
