      The nitrogen in gas shocks keeps the bubbles out of the fluid in the shocks. They will not push up your suspension like an air shock. The days of the Red Ryder by Gabriel are over.

        gas shocks will tear through old school frames like a chevelle if they are too stiff
        seen it happen on 94 impala ss

            YES. I think EVERY tri-five Chevy in my high school had em ripped out (early 70's-the "age" of the airshock)
