My buddy the UPS driver saw this in a garage of one of his deliveries, but neither of us could identify the body style or the manufacturer. One thing of interest is the Flying A hood ornament. Does anyone recognize it or know who made it ?

Definitely not a Prefect
It's an AUSTIN, and it's been chopped. I believe '47-'52 A40, but I don't know the Austins well enough to tell if it's a Devon or a Dorset........
EDIT: Well, the answer is simpler than I thought.....
the Dorset is a 2 door sedan (Saloon on the other side of the pond)
the Devon is a 4 door sedan (Saloon on the other side of the pond)
