Just speculating here, but perhaps to cover his MTOD subscription and the beer to drink while keeping up with RoadKill ?

      Steve's observation is probably accurate.

        • That Toro is SWEET! I had 2 of them (a '73 and a '75) back in the day and they were great cars.

              • My UPS buddy saw this 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk out in a guy's front yard, yesterday afternoon. This one has the four-barrel carbureted version of Studebaker's 289-cubic-inch (4.7 L) V8 engine (225 horsepower) teamed with a Flight-O-Matic automatic transmission.

                • The Hawk is yummy! Folks may not know that that is basically a '53 with bolt on fins and different hood and deck lid.

                      • When I started at EPA those were in with the in-crowd. I was not among them. One of the guys had a Bavaria that the Euro-fans thought was pretty hot, too.

                        • Thought you guys might find this interesting. It's at my buddy David Rackley's shop for some work. The body seems pretty much stock other than the '56 Packard tail lights and Frenched antennas. I don't know anything about that car other than what you can see - and it seems to be well done.

                          • I'm back!!! Some of these were snapped at redlights or on the road so the quality isn't the greatest. The last pic here was a Nova II wagon gasser and that's the clearest shot I could get of it.
