    Thanks, it really shows how a good set of heads can make all the difference, I make close to the same power with the LS1 in my '99 Z28, but I have to use a cam that has .625 lift to do it, the cam in this build only has .520 lift, plus it's a nitrous grind, which ends up leaving a little HP on the table. Same cubes, compression and power, with two different head/cam combos.

    One other thing was the dyno showed that the engine was only pulling about 700cfm, my carb is rated at 830cfm, so I'm a little over carbed, but still, it needed to be jetted up a couple of jets sizes front and rear to get the best power. In fact the last jet change, cleaned up a couple of dips in the graph that we had. Good times, can't wait til the next time.

      I had a custom nitrous cam in my old 428, that thing came alive like something you wouldn't believe on the bottle. No regrets what so ever.
