  • start of a bad day

I start work at 7:30 at a Ford dealer, and by 7:45 I was getting 9 staples in my scalp. Now I have a raging headache!
I was ducking under my lift and ....well i guess i miss judged . thank god for barley pops!

Re: start of a bad day

thanks for the spelling info. ;D

They were worried about me having a concussion. The cut is three inches long and the doctor even took some cell phone pics to send to his wife. WTF!

No medicine, and was back back to work by 9:00. this wasnt the first time either
last time it was 9 stitches in my head, the doc said the staples are like multiple stitches, and he said I cant remove them myself.....so he thinks!

Ouch. I've bounced my head off lifts before too :'( Now at work we have to wear hard hats, and I'll definately say they've worked wonders in some occasions.

Ouch, that sucks. You're probably regretting that "no medicine" thing by now, huh? That was pretty thoughtful of your doc to use your head for his wife's amusement/wonder too.
My bud Cobey (Oldsman71) walked into the foot pedal for our spot welder at work. It left a dent in his shin but thankfully, no stiches or anything. He was bitching for a while that day.

Thank God you didn't hurt anything important.

Seriously...OUCH....that must have killed. You mechanic types have had a rough stretch around here lately. Have you mysteriously started speaking a foreign language yet?

I'm 5'5" and still walk into the hoist from time to time. The good news is that my head is so darn hard that the hoist has dents all over it where I've smacked it. Hope you guys all heal up quickly - I don't have to make a living at this. Speaking of which - how you doing, Spidey? Hope that's healing up nicely.

Well , just finishing up at work , was done at 12. no headache or anything, but Iam planning on starting on a new 1/4 barrel that my neighbor bought me for doing a 4 wheel brake job on his truck last night after work.

I HATE SATURDAY MORNINGS AT WORK... even though it was Disco Dougs Gravy repairs today. ( we play nothing but disco today )
