Two things are needed in all the posts in the forum...

LOCATION
PRICE

Can you add to the rules no E-bay links.
If I wanted to surf e-bay I would.

A general location is needed, atleast in the profile.

I don't mind an occasional e-bay link, as long as its not Seller spamming.
Not everyone has time to surf there too.
Same with Craigslist.

I think the Check This Out section was genius.......and am surprised other car forums don't have it.

Bottom line CJTV is my forum of choice.

On one of my forums I use "Cars/Parts found for Sale"
... or how about "Stuff seen for sale" ?

My two cents worth........most sites don't have this option, so many don't know what it is.....maybe use a different terminology which would best describe it.
I think it's a great idea.
One of the AMC sites I use to frequent several years ago had this......I like it because of the many leads you get from folks all over.

The swap meet section is a welcome addtion to the site. Any place I can post my stuff for sale is cool with me.
