        • They made an episode about that, they have the Escargo to finish and an MG SVR to do up from a body shell: https://youtu.be/hBePeBMklko

no, they do not because there is no room for improvement - not really dissing MTOD, but pointing out that another corporation stirring this pot could only result in tears.

                  • That was a enjoyable episode, had a few laughs, "the supplied bracket need a bracket"

                      • I think the flares need to stay yellow.

                        • I'm wondering how much original metal is left on the car. Bonnet and boot lids, maybe the roof panel?

About as much as most old vehicle that are 30+ years old and where used, and not garage queens their whole lives.

they talked about that a couple episodes ago.... most of the inner structure (that didn't have to be removed to fit the tunnel) is still there, exterior the roof, hood, deck lid. The flares removed a good deal of the rot in the wheel openings....

I know you're not saying this - but it does crack me up when one of my non-car-building friends (aka token friends) asks me that question on any of my stuff - sure there was a lot of work, but in no way is it building a brand new car....
