        One of my favorite project cars . I was hoping they weren't going to stall us further with the rear of the car and get on with making the tires not hang out but it was still fun watching them making a box . { gas tank }

          another good show.

          and yes a gimp can weld like a boss.

          I saw a countryman today while passing it with a 550hp peterbilt.

          like a gimping boss.

          Can't wait to see this run, this much effort, it would be a show rally tribute something or other.
          my 80s subaru ended up there...don't show it to anybody for being hideous.
          the mini crowd would call that fast.

            I still wonder what they're going to do about the tilt front end... at this point, they have no engine access.

              I want to see them get creative on the turbo plumbing under the hood and how they're going to cram working AirCon in there.

                  there was a 50/50 chance it was going make it...and only a 10% chance of that.

                        The car is so thought out that even though it is all fabricated , It looks like a factory build .

                          I took in the ten geared tin can ten years ago.
                          Thought I went totally nerd with it.

                            Rewatching the first video they estimated this to be a six month project. I guess they didn't anticipate nearly remanufacturing the whole car. I think the roof may be the only original panel left. It's pretty amazing some of the pieces they've managed to fabricate.

                              what really makes me laugh is their comments now about driving it in a spirited fashion. Yeah, 4 years and you'll risk it running into a tree....

                                20 minutes Blackhurst time = 4 hours... see how many times they say that. The math almost works out.
